Running of the last stage of the project ”Modernization and endowment of the existing Testing and Calibration Laboratory”, non reimbursing financial support granted by the state budget through the ”Program for increasing the competitiveness of the industrial products”
The stages of the Project, run successfully since 2009, include:
Laboratory Modernization:
The laboratory has a surface of approx. 220 square meters split into compartments in function of the tests to be done (5 climatic rooms) with sufficient space for optimally locating the specific apparatus.
The laboratory includes a room specially designed for accommodating a coordinate measuring machine, so that it allows handling large size components (e.g. spindles, housings etc.) that will be set directly on the machine table by means of the crane/overhead crane from the machining shop. In this respect, the room is provided with a sliding door of 4 m opening and a movable roof of 3 m opening that allow the easy access of the crane/overhead crane up to the area of the table of the coordinate measuring machine.
Laboratory Endowment:
The laboratory is endowed with state-of-the-art measuring and control instruments that allow verification of the machining accuracy on the components being machined, as well as verification of the manufacturing accuracy of the machine tools in the company current production:
measuring system for straightness, flatness and squareness (DA.400 – Taylor Hobson)
pulley alignment system (BTA digital – Damalini)
measuring system for machine tool dynamic performances (Ballbar QC20-W – Renishaw)
2D measuring column (Mitutoyo)
digital multimeter (Fluke)
level with magnetic sole (Wyler)
kit of plan-parallel block gauges, block gauges
boring kits, micrometers, digital calliper rules, torque wrenches etc.
The 3D coordinate measuring machine model Nikon LK V 25.15.12 is currently in purchasing process (contract being run):
