KUM 400
The Knee Type Milling Machines are designed and built for precise and efficient milling, drilling and boring, utilizing state of the art methods for single-piece or series production.
Furthermore, due to their sturdy design and large speed range, they are capable to withstand heavy workloads and high table weight. Workpieces made of steel, cast iron or light metal can be machined by means of high-speed steel or carbide tipped tools at the highest cutting capacity possible.
The machines can be used in three ways: manually, with a pendant control panel, or with automatic control cycles.
Other features:
- Reciprocal and intermittent feed milling.
- Frame milling of cross and vertical (YZ), longitudinal and vertical (XZ) cycles.
- Automatic rise and fall of table to clear cutter in rapid return.
