KVM 400 - Vertical spindle with 100 mm travel and tilting head at ± 45°
The Knee Type Milling Machines are designed and build for precise and efficient milling, drilling and boring, utilizing state of art methods for single-piece or series production.
Designed to support heavy table loads, as well as due to their sturdy design and their large speed range, these machines feature the rigidity and strength required for such heavy work. Workpieces made of steel, cast iron or light metal can be machined by means of high-speed steel or carbide tipped tools at the highest cutting capacity possible.
The machines can be used in three ways: manually, with a pendant control panel, or with automatic control cycles.
Other features:
- Reciprocal and intermittent feed milling.
- Frame milling of cross and vertical (YZ), longitudinal and vertical (XZ) cycles.
- Automatic rise and fall of table to clear cutter in rapid return.
